Confession: Today I was that mom

Its the last day of school today and C-Man has successfully completed Kindergarten.

I took my little man to school today just as I always do.  When we got there, he leaned into the front seat to give his mama a kiss.  "Bye mom - I love you.  See ya later".  He jumped out of car and headed toward the playground.

As I watched him strut across the parking lot, struggling to keep his backpack up on his bony shoulders that dreaded lump started to rise up in my throat and the tears pooled in my eyes.  I pulled into an official parking place and just cried.  I sat and cried for about five minutes.

I have a first grader now.  First grade!!

Confession:   I used to be a cheerleader (don't you dare judge me)

I'm not the worlds greatest speller.  Sometimes I have to chant an old cheer in my head just spell words correctly.  Pathetic but true.  Sometimes I even catch myself doing "mini" motions with my arms.  Cheerleading - it was a big deal at the time.  Now its just memories and spell check!

Confession: I follow trends

I follow trends and this weekend I added these little gems to my hair.  I was a little nervous how they'd go over at work (I'm a nurse).  Turns out the co-workers and patients seemed to like them.  I heard several times that they "reflect my personality"

I Confess

I'm just a simple girl who has done - and continues to do crazy / fun / ridiculous / random / unexplainable / wonderful / and awesome stuff.
